Andrew Waite & the Firm is a gutsy roots-rock band based out of Charlottetown, PEI.

An acute collective of heavy-hitters, the group delivers a relentless performance with rich harmonies and explorative soundscapes. Waite’s songwriting is honest, rugged, and evocative. Their debut EP, Burning Through the Night, was released September, 2015.

Burning Through the Night was recorded at the Sound Mill Studio, with Jon Matthews and released in September 2015. It delivers great sonic diversity, with a polished sound and won the 2016 Music PEI Rock Recording of the Year, and has since been nominated for Music PEI’s Songwriter of the Year award, and Group Recording of the Year. It was a regional finalist in the 2015 CBC Searchlight competition where it garnered the attention of CBC’s Grant Lawrence, who selected the track as one of his third round stand-outs. “If The Band came from Charlottetown, they might sounds a lot like Andrew Waite & the Firm” stated Lawrence. ‘Someone To Hold Me’ could easily have audiences on a national scale swaying back and forth to this chorus.”

The band has garnered attention with the success of their title track, Burning Through the Night, (feat. Irish Mythen), including an eight week stint on the East Coast Countdown reaching the number one spot.

Andrew Waite & the Firm have developed and maintained a loyal and consistent following in the Charlottetown music scene. They have shared stages with Wintersleep, Slowcoaster, The Sadies, Peter Katz, The Novaks, Coyote, and The Meds.
